This Photo was taken on the last day of camp before the last activity. I was sad that we had to leave camp it was so fun.

Year 6 Team Building Challenge

At the end of this Term we took part in a Year 6 Team building challenge in the Auditorium.  We had to work together to build a bridge that was wide enough for a ball to pass through and strong enough to hold a dictionary.

Alternate New Zealand Flag

In Art we designed our own flag for New Zealand.

Youthtown Hockey

This Term we have been working with Youth Town sports and learning different hockey skills.

Japanese Calligraphy

Last Thursday we had a visit from HOSHINO GAKUEN PRIMARY SCHOOL.  They showed us how to play Japanese card games and how to write our names in Japanese.

"Colour My World" Art Exhibition 2015

For Art Exhibition we had to learn about tinting and blending colours.  We learned to mix primary, secondary and tertiary colours. We had to blend the colours together to make our eye look realistic. We painted the iris as a colour wheel.We added a reflection to the eye to make it look real  We varnished the iris and pupil to make it stand out.We added paper eye lashes to make our eye look 3 dimensional.

Independence Award

I got this award for being an Independent Thinker.

Korean Visitor - Term 1

This Term we had two visitors from Korea working with us for three weeks.  Their names were Duncan and Jordan.  We enjoyed working with them and learning about their home. We enjoyed teaching them english.

Bike Skills - Term 1

This Term we have been taking part in a Bike Wise Programme where we have been learning different bike skills on the field.  We have learned how to scoot on our bike, we learned how to signal with both hands and we also learned how to go over an obstacle.  These skills will help us when we go Mountain Biking at Camp in Term 4.

Soccer Skills - Term 1

This is a picture of Room 21 doing Soccer Skills on the Field.  It was fun playing the games with the Coaches.
